Some minor updates

It's been an exciting few months since the launch of CyWi! Currently
we are working to improve the network further by adding new features
to the portal software to increase it's usability. While most of these features are too minor
to mention one good example is better device support.
We now support CyWi service on the Wii console! Free users get http access, which means
any game or application that uses http to deliver content to your console such as Netflix or the
Wii web browser will work on the service.
Premium users get the added benefit of full internet access on the Wii, so games with online features
that do not use http (such as online multiplayer) can run on CyWi! To join the network on a Wii,
select CyWi off your Wii's wireless network list. After joining open the Wii web browser and load
a webpage to be brought to the CyWi portal. After signing in, you can continue browsing, or return
to the Wii menu and run your games and applications!
We also believe this will work for the DSi and 3DS, however as we do not own those devices
we were unable to test them. If you own a DSi or 3DS, try hopping on CyWi and drop us a line at
contact@cywi.net with your results. Remember to open the
web browser after joining CyWi to log in through the portal.
In other news we have established a facebook page and like buttons on some of our CyWi web pages.
We will try to keep our facebook page updated with the same news updates that we are delivering through this site.

We released the full captive portal on our CyWi network today.
Thanks to everybody who has tested the network over the past month.

CyWi Service is now in beta!

With the addition of the advertising-enabled captive portal in the
next few days, we are officially entering beta. Many people have
already been using the test network, and your usage has helped us fix
minor issues that we normally would not have seen until launch, we thank
you! We are also still seeking businesses to advertise on the service
at launch, and with the addition of the advertising portal, we can start
displaying your ads to the service right now, just shoot us an email at
ads@cywi.net.

Exciting news! CyWi is nearing launch status quickly! We realize
we are a bit behind schedule, but the delays were necessary to determine
that our network will be the best it can be at launch. We are currently
preparing an additional node location that will allow the service to
span over most of central downtown! We hope to have the service launched
very soon, and will let everyone know through this site and hopefully
through your local media outlets. You may notice a CyWi SSID in the area
of downtown, this is probably a soft-launch test node, we can't
guarantee its quality, but if its open, don't be afraid to hop on the
network and give it a test drive. Until then keep your ears to the
ground for any news and updates, and your eyes peeled for those APs!
